The Santa Maria golf course located 10km east of Marbella is set within two valleys, with streams and lakes forming natural hazards.

Memorable holes include the sixth, where the tee is located on top of the new motorway but it is done so well the majority of golfers will be blissfully unaware of the cars underneath their feet.

The seventh is a terrific par-three played from an elevated tee. The front nine at Santa Maria require more finesse than brute force, while the back nine allow you an opportunity to open the shoulders!

The 11th is a spectacular hole with a lake and waterfall beside the green. The finishing stretch of three holes at Santa Maria is strong and the obvious attention to detail taken by the green-keeping staff lifts the golf course above many others in the area.
