Chiang Mai is the cultural hub of northern Thailand and also a favourite tourist destination, situated approximately one-hour flight time from Bangkok.

Weather: Chiang Mai offers cooler weather than in the south of Thailand. Between November and March the weather is mostly dry and warm. Average Day Highs 30°C(85°F). December and January are coolest. From April/May to October is rainy season, with temperatures of 32°C(90°F).
